Our New Religious School: What's being said!
"My daughters have had a wonderful experience at HBT religious school. Not only have they learned Hebrew and about being Jewish, but it also has given them the opportunity to create friendships with other kids in the Jewish community."
Meredith Englander “My family has a long history at HBT one which we are very proud of. As parents we are always trying to make meaningful connections for our kids through family, places, and experiences. Having our children attending HBT religious school is an enriching way to continue to make connections for our kids. Including connection to their Jewish faith, to their family history, and to their young and vibrant Toronto Jewish community. Our connections are strong to HBT and best of all our kids are quickly learning the connections they have made are just as strong”. Jill Farber |

Toronto Council of Hazzanim Gala ConcertBy Cantor Benjamin Z. Maissner.
It is my privilege to announce that on Tuesday, October 15, 2013 our Toronto Council of Hazzanim is holding a major, magnificent Cantorial concert at Beth Emeth Synagogue. Our local talent and one of the greatest most prestigious Cantors, Hazzan Benzion Miller, an international Cantorial star, will join us in order to enhance the concert. Toronto has always been known for its love of traditional Jewish music. We have had the most prestigious Cantors appear in our city as our Council has always been active in promoting Jewish Music. Our Toronto Cantorial Trust Fund helps students pursue their Cantorial studies in various Cantorial seminaries; HUC, JTS and Yeshivam University. We have published many volumes of Cantorial and popular Jewish music the world over. Please support us and save the date to enjoy this extravaganza Cantorial evening. October 15, 2013. Unveiling Ceremonies
Is it time for the unveiling ceremony of a loved one? If so, the clergy would like to offer their support at this time. Please chose from among the following Sundays for family and friends to gather with clergy for the dedication of the headstone: August 25, September 29, October 6, and October 27.
Some families choose to conduct the unveiling themselves, using our prayer pamphlets. To make arrangements for an unveiling, please call Hayley McAdam,(ext. 246) or [email protected] at the Temple.
